KCRs Hindi proficiency

Hindi is the national language of India but there are vivid disparities along the length and breadth of the country. We see North Indian speaking Hindi more while several regional languages reign down the South. It is almost after 25 years South India gets a fluent Hindi speaking Chief Minister in the form of Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandra Sekhar Rao.

In the United Andhra Pradesh, after 1990 no Chief Minister could speak fluent Hindi. Marri Chenna Reddy who was chief minister from December 3, 1989 to December 17, 1990 used to be fluent in Urdu. Later on most Chief Ministers are from Coastal Andhra or Rayala Seema, the regions which barely have the Hindi usage. N Janardhana Reddy, Kotla Vijayabhaskara Reddy, N T Rama Rao, N Chandrababu Naidu, Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, K Rosaiah and N Kiran Kumar Reddy are not good in Hindi.

So, after 25 years, Telugu race have a fluent Hindi speaking Chief Minister in K Chandra Sekhar Rao. Experts say KCR’s Hindi speaking skills will help him impress the Muslims of Old city and get their votes. This ability will also help him interact with the national leaders.
