KCR Helping JaganKCR has taken the first step for the expansion of his BRS party into Andhra Pradesh.

Retired IAS officer and Kapu leader Thota Chandrashekhar, former minister and Dalit leader Ravela Kishore Babu and former Indian Revenue Services Officer Chintala Parthasarathi have joined BRS. All of them are previously from Janasena.

Thota Chandrashekhar is likely to be announced as the AP President of BRS.

Janasena sources say that KCR seems to be trying to help his friend Jagan Mohan Reddy by weakening Pawan Kalyan’s party.

“Janasena is in a much better position when compared to 2019. An alliance with TDP can be very dangerous to YSR Congress. BRS is a ploy to weaken Janasena,” a political analyst says.

“If Janasena leaders leave the party and join a much smaller party like BRS, it can create a perception that Janasena is useless. In such case, voters may stay away from the party and that would obviously benefit the ruling party. Janasena should prepare itself for more leaders leaving in the coming days,” he adds.

Jagan earlier used to talk very less about Pawan Kalyan. But he is talking more about the Janasenani ever since the reports about a possible alliance surfaced.
