Telangana Government has studied the Andhra Pradesh model of Liquor Sales but has voted against it. The committee appointed to study the model opined that there are several operational difficulties like renting shops, recruiting staff, etc. The commission earned through the liquor sale will be saved with this model.
But at the same time, the government will be losing on the license fees. Furthermore, the YSR Congress Government is doing that in the name of phase-wise implementation of Prohibition but Telangana Government will do that as a part of Business and is keen on increasing the Revenues.
So, KCR Government has voted for the old model of Private Liquor Business. In its new policy which will come into effect from November 1st and will be in force until October 2021. The Government is charging the License Fees according to the Population.
The fees will range from 50 Lakhs to 1.1 Crore. With every application filed, the government will collect a non-refundable deposit of Two Lakhs and from the applications alone, the state government is expecting more than 800 Crore income. There are 2216 shops in the state and they will be allotted on Lottery Basis.Don't MissAla Vaikunthapurramulo – It Is Not Just A Family DramaStylish Star Allu Arjun will be seen on the big screen after a considerably long...Don't Missజగన్ బ్యానర్ కు జనసేన ఎమ్మెల్యే పాలాభిషేకంపోయిన ఎన్నికలలో జనసేన పార్టీ ఒకే ఒక్క సీటు గెలిచింది. పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ పోటీ చేసిన రెండు సీట్లలో ఓడిపోయినా...Don't MissAP Government to Spend 60 Lakhs for Every Court Visit of JaganThe arguments about YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's Petition to exempt him from court appearances concluded...Don't MissGoing Commercial Is Hurting Young HeroYoung hero Aadi Pudipeddi, son of senior actor Sai Kumar has been in the industry...Don't MissPrabhas's Funky Costume Catches AttentionPrabhas, Rajamouli and Baahubali team landed in London for the proud moment that Baahubali, The...
