Telangana Government is gearing up to start its landmark Free Fertilizers Scheme. Under this scheme, every farmer will get 4000 Per Acre in a season. Thus 8000 Rupees will be given for every acre in the state in a year.
The Telangana State government had decided to give the first installment by May 15th every year and the second installment by October 15th every year to ensure that the amount will come handy for the farmers at crucial times. The money will be deposited into the bank accounts of the farmers.
Farmers Associations will be formed in every Revenue Village which will execute the program. The government claims that there are One Crore acres being cultivated in Telangana and 8000 per year will mean that the expense will arrive at 8000 Crore per year.
