KCR declares support to Rahul Gandhi!

Looks like Telangana Rashtra Samiti is heading to romance Congress Party once again. With the reports of Telangana Assembly going towards a hung, TRS is looking to join hands with Congress to form the government in the state. Most surveys predict Congress and TRS going neck to neck in the seats tally. In case, TRS goes with Congress in Telangana, they can not join NDA lead by Narendra Modi.

In an exclusive interview to NDTV, KCR clearly stated that he will not be extending support to Modi even if he approaches. “I am ready to support Rahul Gandhi for the Prime Minister’s chair. After all it was Sonia Gandhi who granted Telangana”, KCR said. TRS party was born just before 2004 elections and went to the election in alliance with Congress. They parted ways with Congress and joined 3rd front in 2009. But even before the results were announced he was seen in a public meeting of NDA supporting BJP. With such inconsistent history, TRS’ exact decision will be known only after the results now.
