KCR-Starts-Checkmating-BJPTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao’s rise after the Bifurcation is sensational. He has become an indisputable force in the State Politics with back to back victories in the elections. But now, with the way of handling of Striking RTC Employees, one would doubt if the success has gone to KCR’s head.

The Chief Minister had announced that there is no chance of negotiating with the RTC employees and declared that 48,660 Employees Self-dismissed themselves by not reporting to work. There is no term called ‘Self-Dismiss’ in the constitution but KCR made it happen. The issue has reached the high court and the court mentioned twice to negotiate.

On Friday, the high court asked the government and RTC management to commence talks with the agitating employees at 10.30 am on Saturday and conclude the talks within three days. But KCR is still not relenting and in a meeting with the senior officials, he termed it as a high court suggestion, not an order.

He reiterated that there are no talks and no question of taking back the sacked employees. With this stubborn attitude not heeding even the instruction of the court, RTC unions are alleging that back to back electoral victories have gone into KCR’s head and he is cutting down the stem on which he is sitting. They say so because it is with the support of employees TRS came to Power.
