It is no wonder Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao always try to compete with his Andhra Pradesh Counterpart Chandra Babu Naidu. Now KCR is competing with Naidu over the Godavari Pushkaralu celebrations the next year. Chandra Babu has the history of making never before arrangements for last Pushkaralu and KCR criticizes Naidu for concentrating only Andhra Pradesh regions for Pushkaralu and completely ignoring Telangana temples and districts where the river is flowing.

With the states separated now, KCR wants to celebrate the festival which comes for every 12 years as never before. KCR has taken a decision to invite President Pranab Mukherjee to grace the occasion and seers of Kanchi, Shringeri and China Jeeyar Swami and other such prominent personalities are also on the list. The government will also undertake a massive publicity campaign to attract all those Telugu people in Maharashtra, Surath, elsewhere in India and abroad to take a holy dip in Godavari at Telangana places during the festival.
