It came as a rude shock not only for the cine industry but also for the Chief Ministers of the Telugu States. Music director Chakri’s untimely demise in the Apollo Hospital today morning left them in shock. In his condolence message, Telangana CM said,” Telangana lost its ‘Muddu Bidda’. Losing a talented music composer like Chakri who scored many successes in his career. His demise at such a young age is a great loss for the TFI . May his soul RIP.”
In another message AP Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu expressed shock on the death of Chakri. Nandamuri Balakrishna and Nara Lokesh too sent their condolences messages to the departed soul. The superhit music of Balayya Babu’s ‘Simha’ was scored by Chakri which went on to win him Nandi Award for the Best Music Composer category. Especially the song ‘Bangarukonda Marumalledanda..’ won him accolades for the melodious tune.
