Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is all set to purchase a new convoy. The state government had placed order for the new convoy and the necessary purchase order has been placed.
Eight Toyota land cruisers, and two special buses were purchased and are being made bulletproof in a company present in Veerapanenigudem of Andhra Pradesh.
A Jharkhand headquartered company famous for bulletproofing works had set up its southern region workshop at Veerapanenigudem to speed up orders placed by the clientele belonging to police agencies.
There are ten land cruisers already in KCR’s convoy. Eight other fortuner cars were also purchased for the use of officials in KCR’s convoy.
A trial run has been done recently in the outskirts of Vijayawada. These eighteen vehicles will come to Telangana very soon.
The Chief Minister is planning extensive district tours with elections fast approaching. So, the officials of Intelligence Security Wing have strengthened the Chief Minister’s security.
