KCR Being Shown The Taste of His Own Medicine TRS Chevella MP Konda Vishveshwar Reddy resigned to the party the other day claiming Injustice to those who worked for the Telangana cause and also no development in his constituency. He went on to say that TRS is slowly becoming unreachable to the people. Buzz is that he may join Congress soon. Rumours are that two more MPs and an MLC is also likely to follow the same.

This will mean that Congress is trying to show the taste of KCR’s Own Medicine. KCR projected TRS as invincible by encouraging defections from TDP and Congress. There is a perception in the people that the party is strong while the Opposition is clueless. Ahead of the polling in Telangana, Congress wants to create the same perception in favour of it and benefit in the elections.

If they are able to pull out a handful of legislators from TRS, they may be successful as well. KCR was addressing a Public Meeting the other day when the Chevella MP sent the resignation letter to the party office and media picked the news. KCR looked visibly upset and also cut short his speech. It is just an indication what such last minute defections can do.

Telangana will go for elections on December 7th and the results will be announced on 11th of the same month. Conditions are totally in favour of TRS when KCR dissolved the State Assembly in September but Congress led Mahakutami is slowly making inroads. Except for the harahiri with the seat sharing, Mahakutami definitely put up a better show and it has to be seen if that translates into votes and they come power.
