KCR - ys JaganTelangana Assembly Budget Session is discussing on the Thanks Motion to the Governor’s Address. During his speech, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has strongly criticized the main Opposition Party, Congress on various issues and also touched the topic of new districts.

“We made 33 districts in our first term. Some Congress leaders do not want that and some came up with their demands of new districts. There is no clarity within the party itself. After independence, only West Bengal and Erstwhile Andhra Pradesh did not reorganize districts,” KCR said.

“Seeing Telangana, Andhra Pradesh now wants to have new districts. From what I talked with AP CM Jagan and from the information I got, Andhra Pradesh is going to have 25 districts very soon,” KCR said on the floor of the house. However, this has drawn criticism from some people.

“There is no official word about the reorganization of the districts in Andhra Pradesh even though there are rumors for quite a while. It is said that CM Jagan is making aware the neighboring CM of the policy changes before the people of the state,” some people of social media criticize.
