Andhra Pradesh Government recently announced YV Subba Reddy as the Chairman of TTD Board for another term. The Board members, however, will be shuffled and the Chief Minister already started the necessary exercise. Recommendations are pouring in already.
Buzz is that KCR and KTR have proposed two names each to be on the board. Among the four are My Home Group Chairman Jupally Rameshwara Rao and Telangana Today’s Newspaper Managing Director Damodhar Rao.
It has to be seen if Jagan will adhere to these requests in the wake of recent water wars between both the states. Some people say the water wars are just optics and both the Chief Ministers enjoy cordial relations. Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also proposed a name to the AP CM.
He asked the Chief Minister to continue V Krishna Murthy, a renowned bureaucrat who is already on the board for one more term.
