KCR_and_Governor_TamiliSaiTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao and Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan are at loggerheads for a long time. The CM did not go to Raj Bhavan for more than a year and the Government is not extending the necessary Protocol to the Governor.

We have seen the Governor going to media debates complaining about the Government and has also stalled many bills for months together. KCR Government went to the High Court after the Governor did not approve the state budget.

But both the parties reconciled at the last minute and the Government withdrew the petition.

Finally, the Government addressed the joint session of the state assembly on the first day of the Budget session.

She started her speech by saying “my government stood ideal to the country on many fronts” and also praised various schemes that are being implemented in the state.

The Government prepares the speech and the Governor reads it out in her address.

As a part of the compromise, the state Cabinet did not include anything against the Central government in the Governor’s speech.

And the Governor did not deviate from the speech given to her and praised the Government and its schemes. She even went on to say – “My Government stood as a Model for the country. It has come to the level of feeding the entire country”.
