Senior Congress leader Kavuri Samba Siva Rao who resigned to his Union Ministry and Congress membership is all set to join Bharatiya Janata Party. Samba Siva Rao earlier tried joining Telugu Desam Party but was denied entry due to the stiff resistance from the local TDP leaders. He is reportedly eyeing BJP now. He will be joining BJP in the presence of Narendra Modi in Bhimavaram Public meeting on May 1st.
Samba Siva Rao, a senior parliamentarian and close aide of Gandhi family since Indira Gandhi, became the Union Textile Minister on June 17th, 2013. Kavuri is currently busy in accumulating people to follow him to Bhimavaram during his joining in to BJP. With the political uncertainity of Kavuri, his loyalists and cadre was mostly decimated in to other parties. We will have to see how he will be useful to BJP now.
