Karnataka-Exit-Polls-Divided-Over-ResultExit Polls by various Media and Poll Agencies have only added to the confusion and tension around the results of Karnataka Elections. In the nine Exit Poll Results which came out till now are vertically split between BJP and Congress. Five Exit Poll Results say BJP will emerge as the Single Largest Party while Four say Congress.

The only common point among all the exit polls is that the election is closely fought and no party is guaranteed well above the absolute majority mark. If at all Congress wins this election, Siddaramaiah will create a record of coming back to Power back to back a rare feat in Karnataka in the recent years and it will be a big embarrassment for BJP which has deployed its rank and file in Karnataka from the PM to his cabinet for the campaign.

Election has happened in only 222 of the total 224 seats in Karnataka. One seat did not go to the election due to the demise of the BJP candidate and the other due to the seizure of around 10000 Voter Id cards in a constituency. Karnataka is the gateway of South for BJP if they will this election, the party says. But then the suspense will be on till 15th.
