BJP Senior Leader, former minister Kanna Lakshmi Narayana had resigned to the BJP. He has been vocal against President Somu Veerraaju and MP GVL Narasimha Rao.
While Kanna wrote personal reasons and compulsions for the resignation, his followers who also resigned to the party wrote ‘due to the short sighted, unilateral, undemocratic, and disastrous leadership of Somu Veerraaju’.
There are reports that Kanna will be joining the TDP on 24th of this month when Chandrababu Naidu will be touring the Guntur district. He is reportedly eager to get tickets of Sattenapalli, Guntur West, or Pedakurapadu.
There has been a lot of talk about TDP eager to have an alliance with the BJP. But there are no such feelers from the Cycle Party.
Kanna Lakshmi Narayana would not have come out of BJP if there is an alliance. He may have spoken to Chandrababu before changing the party.
Does that convey the message that TDP is not interested in an alliance with BJP? Probably it may be like only with Janasena or alone.
Kanna is the only leader who enjoys considerable vote bank in AP BJP besides Purandeshwari. So this is a loss for the Saffron party.
