Burra Madhusudhan Yadav of YSR Congress won the 2019 elections with a sensational 41K votes majority over TDP’s Mukku Ugra Narasimha Reddy. Burra is expecting the ticket once again for 2024 as well.
Reddy Corporation Chairman Chintalacheruvu Satyanarayana Reddy is also expecting the ticket. Former MLA Kadiri Baburao who defected from TDP to YSRCP is also expecting the same ticket.
Several local leaders are not happy with the sitting MLA and Burra is not caring about them even now. Reddy Corporation Chairman Chintalacheruvu Satyanarayana Reddy is trying to use this to his benefit.
Burra contested from Kanigiri in 2014 and 2019. He lost in 2014 but won in 2019. He lost in 2014 due to no support from the Reddy community.
The community supported Burra in 2019 to make Jagan the Chief Minister.
But the community leaders are not happy with the MLA and want the ticket to Satyanarayana Reddy for their community domination.
In between both of them, Kadiri Babu Rao is claiming that he has the blessings of Jagan.
The party cadre is urging the high command to decide on the 2024 candidate to avoid further confusion.
