Kamma Polarization Towards TDP For The First Time! Some people easily brand TDP as a Kamma party but as a matter of fact, the Kamma community is never completely polarized towards TDP.

Kamma community was earlier supporting communists and later to Congress as well.

Even after TDP came into existence, we have many big Kamma leaders in Congress.

Daggubati Purandeshwari, Kavuri Samba Siva Rao, Rayapati Samba Siva Rao, Renuka Chowdary, Puvvada Ajay, and many other Kamma leaders were in Congress for years together.

So, the Kamma vote is never completely titled towards TDP.

But the community may get polarized toward TDP in the 2024 elections.

Ever since Jagan came to power in 2019, there is a continuous effort to strangle the community financially and politically.

Also, there is an effort to alienate the community socially by creating hatred in other sections.

In the recent cabinet expansion, we have seen no representation from the community.

This is the first time in the history of Andhra Pradesh not having a minister from that community.

After YSR Congress, the other option for the community is BJP and Janasena.

Janasena is not going to be the choice for obvious reasons.

In the case of the BJP, the community is upset with the way how they handled Venkaiah Naidu.

Venkaiah was not given an opportunity to be the President of India. He was also denied a second term as Vice-President.

This looks like an unceremonious exit for the tallest leader of the BJP and the Kamma community.

With no options, we may see the Kamma community completely polarized toward TDP in the next elections.
