Pilli family has become inactive in the Kakinada Rural constituency after the 2019 defeat mounting problems of TDP in the constituency.
Kakinada Rural constituency has come into effect after delimitation. In three elections there after, TDP won only once.
Pilli family is TDP’s big bet here. They contested three elections and won one. Pilli Satyanarayana contested and lost the 2009 elections.
His wife, Pilli Anantha Lakshmi contested in 2014 and 2019. She won in 2014 and lost in 2019. Kurasala Kannababu won on her and became Minister in Jagan’s Cabinet.
TDP is on hunt for a strong candidate to defeat Kannababu.
Buzz in the constituency is that Kapu JAC Leader Vasireddy Yesudasu may join TDP and contest on TDP ticket. The other day, Yesudasu met Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and announced joining TDP.
Yesudasu is one of the prominent followers of Mudragada Padmanabham.
He is planning a big public meeting in the Kakinada Rural constituency and invite Chandrababu to it. He will join the party in Naidu’s presence.
