Just One Bid For Amaravati Lands Sale!Jagan Mohan Reddy‘s Government had completely disowned Amaravati and brought the capital works to a standstill. The Government, however, is trying to liquidate lands given by the farmers to fund the welfare schemes.

In the first lot, the government had decided to auction 56.2 acres in Tenali, Navuluru, Payakapuram, and Ibrahimpatnam.

These lands are divided into a few lots and were priced from 32,000 Rupees per square yard to 10,000 Rupees per square yard.

Only three persons have applied for these lands. Only one bid was marked 100 Rupees more than the government price.

CRDA has made elaborate arrangements for buyers at four places but no one really turned out.

For the publicity of this auction, the Government spent 50 Lakh Rupees but could not recover even that.

This response is an indication of the public and investor sentiment on the Jagan Government and Amaravati due to their callousness towards the capital.
