Satyam-Ramalinga-RajuAll that hype of the final judgement in Satyam Case is busted after the Nampally CBI court deferred the judgement till March 9th. All the accused in the case including Rama Lingaraju attended the court proceedings today. And the security was beefed up in the court surroundings in anticipation of final judgement.

Additional chief metropolitan magistrate B.V.L.N. Chakravarthi stated the the huge documentation in the case as a reason to postpone the verdict. “You must understand that I am a one-man army,” he said. “Typing (a verdict) itself takes three weeks,” the magistrate said.

The Special court trying Satyam cases examined 226 witnesses and perused 3187 marked documents during its trial. It may be reminded that Rama Linga Raju, once the poster boy of Indian IT industry confessed to fudging Satyam’s accounts to the tune of Rs.7,136 crore in January 2009.
