Jolt For KCR, Needs A Scapegoat NowTelangana Public Health Director in a media interaction has hinted that the Government is mulling to stop the rations and pensions to unvaccinated people starting from November 1st to avoid COVID third wave. This announcement has taken political color and became a huge controversy.

Telangana Government fears that this announcement may be misinterpreted by the Political opponents and has decided to disown the statement. The Civil supplies department had immediately released a statement that they do not have any such instructions as such and also that decisions will not be taken by the Health Department.

There were planted reports all over in the media that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has taken a serious view of this statement and had reprimanded the Public Health Director. There were reports in some media that the Public Health Director may be slapped with some action for this.

Public Health Director G Srinivasa Rao has led the state’s COVID-19 battle since the day the Pandemic broke out. It has to be seen if he will have to pay price for a small issue. Also, there are rumors that Srinivasa Rao may not have made the statement without any such proposal in the Government. People are wondering if he is being made the Scapegoat after sensing confusion in the Public.
