If the reports in the media are to believed, Former CBI Joint Director JD Lakshminarayana is all set to join the Telugu Desam Party and contest for Bheemili Assembly Segment. Earlier Lokesh planned to contest from here but in the wake of recent developments, he may contest from Vishakapatnam North.
Lakshminarayana the other day had a closed door Meeting with Ghanta Srinivas Rao who is the sitting MLA in Bheemili. He is in favour of vacating the seat for Lakshminarayana. The Former JD took voluntary retirement the last year and tried to float his own party but could not do so.
He is likely to join the party in a day or two. The Former CBI Joint Director who is known for leading the investigations like OMC Scandal, Emaar Properties, Satyam Scandal and Disproportionate Assets of Jagan Mohan Reddy is prematurely retired as the Additional Director General of Police in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Lakshminarayana praised the relief and rehabilitation works of the government after Titli Cyclone. He will be an asset to Telugu Desam Party if he joins. Meanwhile, YSR Congress will look to claim all the cases on Jagan as conspiracy with this joining. It has to be seen from where Ghanta contests after leaving Bheemili.Don't MissCorona Virus Deaths in US Cross That of 9/11 TollThe United States has become the Epicenter of Coronavirus infections across the globe.
