Apollo released health update of Jayalalitha in the afternoon. The statement said that Amma’s condition continues to be very critical and is still on ECMO (Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) and other life supporting systems, also that the CM is being monitored by a team of Experts.
The term “Very Critical” used in the health update given by the hospital is raising the people’s concern over Amma’s recovery. The act of hospital not allowing to see Jayalalithaa is adding fuel to the fire. Suspended MP Shashikala also a close person to Jayalalithaa, has raised a concern on not letting anyone to see Amma in the hospital. She doubted if their Amma is still alive and asked Centre to interfere and take care of treatment of Amma. She said that centre should either shift her to another international standard hospital or to be taken to abroad for better diagnosis. She said that Amma doesn’t have a personal family, Tamilnadu people are her family and that she is requesting the government to take the charge and save Amma.
Men and women are waiting at the hospital since night, praying for the swift recovery of Amma, hoping for a miracle to happen for their beloved CM to be out of danger. AIADMK has called out for a quick meeting to this afternoon in Chennai to discuss on the further steps to be taken.
