Lok Satta party which once forayed in to Telugu Politics with the promise of Change, finally changed its opinion and decided not to contest elections going further. Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena which was formed before the 2014 elections has many things in similar to Lok Satta. Except for Pawan Kalyan’s filmy popularity, both the parties are plagued by similar problems.
JP always speaks a language not easily understandable to masses. His party always struggled to penetrate in to the grass root level politics and only depended on positive feel surronding it. Janasena has similar problems. The party is yet to have any official representation except for Pawan Kalyan.
Also in the case of Lok Satta, people never looked at any one beyond JP. Filmy popularity did not take Chiranjeevi any where and it has to be seen how far it will help Pawan Kalyan. Also the actor’s attitude of being active in politics only when the elections are round the corner, is a big problem. Lets see if Janasena proves to be different than Lok Satta.
