Janasena delivered a shock to Telangana BJP earlier this month by supporting TRS Candidate in MLC Election. Pawan Kalyan himself expressed his displeasure at Telangana BJP’s illtreatment towards Janasena. But then, it looks like the Janasenani did what BJP wanted.
The party did not try to negotiate Pawan Kalyan on this issue. The other day, it has announced the list of Star Campaigners for Nagarjunasagar By-election and there is no Pawan Kalyan’s name on the list. It looks like BJP is happy about Pawan Kalyan’s decision.
“Janasena is a baggage for BJP as long as Telangana is concerned. It is good that Pawan Kalyan has taken the decision. We do not need any alliance in Telangana. We believe Janasena has no strength to contest in Nagarjunasagar. Even if they do, the impact will be bare minimum,” a Telangana BJP Leader told us on the condition of anonymity.
The voting for Nagarjunasagar By-election will happen on April 17th. March 30th is the last date of nominations. The counting will take place on May 2nd and the results will be out on the same day.
