Janasena-and-BJP-Let-Down-Amaravati-FarmersThe Agitation of the farmers who gave their lands for Amaravati hit the roads against the three capitals idea of Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Government has crossed 200 days mark. While TDP is completely supporting their cause, Janasena and BJP combine is playing their cards carefully. Even though they lent lip service to the cause, there is no solid support to the farmers despite having power at the center, the farmers agitating on the ground level opines.

BJP Rajya Sabha MP, Sujana Chowdary is singing the same tune for more than a year. “I said it in the past and is saying it again. Nobody can move Amaravati even an inch from the Capital. BJP did a resolution committing Amaravati as the Capital. Center will take a decision at an appropriate time,” he tweeted.

Sujana Chowdary has been saying the same since the issue came to the forefront but the appropriate time never came. Janasena President Pawan Kalyan was a different man altogether now. Yesterday is the 200th day of Amaravati Agitation. He posted a couple of tweets about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Ladakh Tour.

And he also posted tweets appreciating Jagan Government on Ambulance Scheme and Corona Crisis Handling. Amaravati farmers feel let down by both the parties. On the other side, YSR Congress is eagerly waiting for TDP to lose its majority in Council so as to go forward with its Capital Trifurcation.
