Earlier there were days when Projects and Investments going to be stalled due to the lack of Environmental Clearances but now projects in Andhra Pradesh also needs ‘Jana Sena‘ Clearances going further. Land Losing Farmers of the projects are reaching out to Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan to stall such projects. We have seen how Pawan Kalyan toured the Capital Region and stalled the land acquisition back then.
The other day, farmers of Thunduru near Bhimavaram, West Godavari met Pawan Kalyan opposing Aqua Foods Park citing environmental concerns. Jana Sena released a Press Note the other day stating that the party is for industrial development but do not want to people to live in fear. Pawan Kalyan went on to say that he will talk to higher officials and government heads about this project.
That will mean that the government will now have to convince Jana Sena to get the project going or Pawan Kalyan may take to roads. In a way, ‘Jana Sena Clearance’ is the must for this project. Earlier victims of such projects used to reach out to Communists over such problems and now Jana Sena has become a new destination. Given Pawan Kalyan’s clout with Chandrababu, victims are hoping that he will be influential.
On the other side, Jana Sena should be careful while dealing such issues as it will give him an anti-development image like communists. We all see how Communists are seen as people living away from reality and the current times. Pawan Kalyan definitely would not want that image for himself and his party given his high ambitions in politics.
