AICC may opt for a minor shuffle in Pradesh Congress Committee of Telangana with Elections just 18 minutes away. It is unlikely a change in the PCC President as the elections are 18 months from now, and a change of guard at this juncture could send a wrong message.
Also finding an alternative could turn out to be a problem. AICC in-charge secretary R.C. Kunthia and AICC SC cell chairman Koppula Raju, confidants of Rahul Gandhi, are in favor of continuing with Uttam Kumar Reddy till the elections. However, there may be a revamp of party organizations.
Former Union minister S. Jaipal Reddy might be inducted into the Congress Working Committee considering his experience. Ponnala Laxmaiah or Hanumantha Rao may be offered the General Secretary Post.
On the other side, the new entrant Revanth Reddy may head the campaign committee.
