Opposition Leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy seem to be running out of ideas in desperation. He called for a three days hunger strike on May 16th, 17th and 18th as a protest against state government for delaying Polavaram Project. The Deeksha is timed when every one are accusing Center about not co-operating for the construction of the project.
Jagan made no mention of this and accused the state government of delaying the project by increasing the cost estimates and corruption. Jagan continued to find fault with Pattiseema project saying that there is no storage capacity for thr project even though several experts are saying it is the best scheme for the moment.
Jagan’s Deeksha is looking like an attempt to divert Polavaram blame from the center to the state government. He also added that his Deeksha is also against the proposed Palamuru – Dindi project in Telangana which will not only affect Krishna Delta but also Nalgonda and Khammam projects. But can Jagan do the protests in Telangana?
