One of the main complaints about the YCP government has been the misuse of police force to nab their political opponents, regardless of the stature of the individuals.
The government has now gone after a 70 year old YouTuber named Subbarao.
Subbarao runs a YouTube channel with the name Kundabaddalu through which gives his view points and analysis on the latest developments in the Telugu states.
Incidentally, Subbarao was served 41A notices by the police over a complaint that was filed back in 2020.
In the complaint which was filed by a man named K Ramanjaneyulu, it was mentioned that ‘Kundabaddalu’ Subbarao had spoken against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the local MLA Kapu Ramachandra Reddy over the three capitals issue.
The police have acted now, after close to three years and served a 41A notice to Subbarao. The local TDP activist fired on the police and the Jagan government over the same, saying they are trying to nab the freedom of speech. They announced full support to Subbarao.
