Jagan's Gadapa Gapadaku: MLAs Say Not Possible!Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had a meeting with the party MLAs and Ministers to discuss the roadmap to the elections.

The Chief Minister repeatedly mentioned how the performance of the MLAs is not up to the mark when people are approving his rule.

The Chief Minister announced the Gadapa Gadapaku YSR Congress program on the 10th of this month and asked all MLAs to touch every household in their constituency in the next 8-9 months.

The MLAs are expected to inform the people about the monetary benefits they receive from various schemes.

We are just two days away from the program but MLAs are not ready to take it up. Andhra Pradesh is grappling with various issues. Especially Power cuts and bad roads are the major problems.

Also, the Government is reducing the beneficiaries of various welfare schemes so as to decrease the burden on the government by introducing various rules.

Even flagship schemes like Rythu Bharosa, Jagananna Vasathi Deevena, Amma Vodi, etc have seen a cut in the beneficiaries. MLAs are worried about facing backlash from the people if they take this program.

Also, several caste-specific schemes were withdrawn or made redundant. Roads and other basic infrastructure in the state are crumbling due to a lack of funds.

Contractors who did various works in this government are waiting for their bills to be released.

Also, this is a season of paddy procurement in the state. Jagan Government is notorious for delaying the payments for several months. This is also pulling back the MLAs.

Also, it is difficult to mobilize people and resources to have such programs in Summer. So, the MLAs are in no mood to follow Jagan’s instructions for now.
