As usually as in every case, Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took his time to comment on yesterday’s violence. With the allegations of YSR Congress fanning the issue and violence for political gains, Jagan tried to counter attack the ruling party.
In about 30 minutes interview, Jagan made routine political comments on all the issues starting from Runa Maafi to Kapu reservations. And ended with a formal request to Kapu community to show restraint.
One interesting and contrasting statement from Jagan is that he started the interview saying that YSR Congress has no role in the meeting but will support the cause. At another point in the interview, Jagan went on to say government instigated violence so that opposition parties do not get the credit of conducting the successful meeting. How can a party claim success from a meeting when it has no role in it?
