Usually, National festivals are kept aside from the normal politics and politicians will try to maintain the decorum of the occasion without mentioning petty issues. But the style of Opposition Leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is totally different. Jagan is a synonym of searching political benefit in everything.
He used the Independence day as well for that now to bash Chandrababu Naidu and TDP government. Jagan hoisted the National Flag in his Lotus Pond Residence and in his speech on the occasion mentioned how the country especially Andhra Pradesh is becoming unsafe for Dalits, referring to an issue that happened in Amalapuram recently.
Jagan went on to say he gets a doubt if we really got Independence or not. He further continued with his usual blabber calling for people to question Chandrababu Naidu for not fulfilling the election promises. He also mentioned about the massive defections from his party to the ruling Telugu Desam Party.
Jagan even questioned why our democracy could not arrest Chandrababu after trying to buy MLAs with black money. He asked people to change to bring change in the system and asked them to come along with him. Analysts see this as new low of the moral bankruptcy of Jagan being too desperate for political mileage and power. One could not stop wondering who is guiding Jagan politically?
