There are reports in some media outlets that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is planning to have a phone-in program on Sakshi or some other channel.
Jagan Mohan Reddy is accused of locking himself in his Tadepalli Palace and staying aloof from the people for three years. So, this is an attempt to change this.
But then, this may be a PR Blunder, experts opine. There are two things in such a plan. The government should have the courage to take real calls.
With anti-incumbency at peaks, such an attempt will be a feast to the Opposition. Obviously, we will see them tampering the calls and ensure Bhajana for Jagan.
In the age of Social Media, we will have such attempts busted in live. Those attempts will be exposed on social media and Whatsapp.
Numerous such attempts in the last three years have got busted very easily.
That means this plan will only cause damage than any help to Jagan Mohan Reddy and YSR Congress. So, YSR Congress Think-tanks should come up with some better idea for image management.
