The other day, the Union Government has announced the Ease of Doing Business Rankings of the State for the year 2018-19. Basing on the performance of the states until March 31st, 2019, the rankings were declared and AP remained as the Number One State for the straight third year.
It is evident that the First Rank is due to the hard work of the previous TDP Government. YSR Congress Rank and File including the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy belittled the achievement previously. Jagan recently also made adverse comments on the Rankings.
But then, once the rankings were announced, the Ruling party unleashed a campaign in Sakshi and their Pro-Channels like TV9 claiming it as their own achievement hiding the fact that the rankings were based only until the reforms taken up to March 31st, 2019. By then, even the elections are not conducted.
“Stealing Credit can be easy with the media muscle now. But the real challenge would be when rankings of 2019-20 are announced. Just imagine the rank AP will get under the rule of Jagan. Regressive actions like Threatening officials of Kia at their own event, introducing Local Reservations in the Global Village age are likely to impact the ranking,” Experts say.
“Andhra Pradesh could not even get a single big investment in this one and half year tenure of Jagan that itself is a testimony of how Business-friendly Andhra Pradesh has become under Jagan Mohan Reddy. This Government will repent stealing the credit,” TDP Leaders claim.
