Jagan Under Unexpected Pressure From Tamil NaduThe Petrol and Diesel Prices in the country are burning a hole in the pockets of the common man. The rates of Petrol are inching towards 110 Rupees per liter in some states. Andhra Pradesh has the highest state tax levied on Petrol and Diesel in one name or the other.

For a long time, Jagan Mohan Reddy Government is under pressure to decrease the taxes. And then, Tamil Nadu Government has decided to lower the state tax on these fuels by Three Rupees per liter. This act of the Tamil Nadu Government is being appreciated by everyone.

All the other state governments are under pressure to follow. The pressure will be more on Jagan Government in Andhra Pradesh where the rates are highest in the South. It has to be seen if the cash-strapped government will budge against the pressure and lower the rates of the fuels.

But then, with less rates in Tamil Nadu, AP people living in border districts of Tamil Nadu are likely to crossover and fill their tanks there causing revenue loss to the state government.
