Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has once again announced that he is ready to support whichever party that is ready to grant the Special Status to Andhra Pradesh. “Be it Narendra Modi or Rahul Gandhi, Give Special Status to Andhra Pradesh and get our support,” the Opposition Leader announced.
Jagan also added that Congress is committing to give Special Status to Andhra Pradesh but then “our past experiences with that party are not good” he said. He also said that giving Special Status to Andhra Pradesh will first need Congress to come to Power at the center which does not look easy at this point of time.
Be it Chandrababu Naidu or Jagan Mohan Reddy, the harsh reality is that the party that comes to Power at the center in 2019 should not have the majority on its own and should be dependent on the parties here. Only then, Special Status will be a reality. Many believe BJP may return to Power but may not have the absolute majority on its own this time.
