Kotagiri Sridhar, son of Veteran Politician Kotagiri Vidyadhara Rao contested to Eluru Parliament on YSR Congress ticket and won. It’s been almost four years but Sridhar is yet to get grip on the constituency.
Sridhar is rarely available for the cadre and the people of his constituency. He is further encouraging group politics and the gap between the MP and the MLAs under his constituency is always a problem.
Sridhar barely tours his constituency and when he does he tours only Chintalapudi and Polavaram constituencies where he has issues with the local MLAs. People often complain that he is inaccessible and never does anything to resolve their problems.
Considering all this, there are rumours in the constituency that he will not get ticket this time. Sridhar’s coterie, however, is confident that he will get ticket again and they say Jagan will give tickets to MLAs under his constituency only after taking his feedback.
