YSR Congress cadre in Krishna, Guntur and Godavari districts are upset with Jagan’s decision to boycott the foundation laying ceremony of the capital. They are of the opinion Jagan is playing too many politics with a sensitive issue related to the sentiment of the truncated state.
The leaders of the district already warned Jagan that this decision will be misunderstood by the people as anti-state and anti-development stance. Already the people are of the opinion, the opposition party do not like the capital coming here.
We are said that some key leaders of this districts requested Jagan to at least allow the party cadre to participate in the capital function as everyone wants to take part in the ‘historic’ event. Jagan’s refusal to even accept the invitation portrayed the party in very poor light which can prove to be very costly. These four districts have a total of 73 assembly seats in the 175-member AP assembly.
