Christian_Advisor_JaganThe chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been facing a fair bit of criticism for appointing countless advisors for random departments.

Cut to now, Jagan has vowed to appoint a new advisor for the Christian community in Andhra Pradesh.

A group of Andhra Pradesh Federation of Churches met Jagan and asked him to exempt charities from local taxes and also to protect Church properties from encroachments.

The chief minister then offered to appoint a new advisor to communicate issues concerning Christians and related organisations in the state.

There is already a case in the high court about how Jagan is spending many lakhs of public’s money on these advisors every month. This case came to hearing recently and the court ordered the government to give a list of advisors.

Now, Jagan has vowed to appoint a new advisor again, this time around for Christian community in the state.
