One of the Senior Most Journalists of the country, Shekar Gupta came down heavily on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Government plan of shifting the Capital to Three Different Places in the State. He used the strongest words criticizing the decision. He called it an idea of Tughlaq Cube and also as a decision taken after drinking 20 Cups of Coffee if not something worse.
Shekar Gupta was laughing while reading out the State Government’s Proposal of Three Capitals. “This is Mohammed Bin Thuglaq on Twenty Cups of Double Caffeine Coffee and god knows what else he might have smoked or drunk. This is madness and this has to stop,” he strongly said.
“Two capitals in Jammu and Kashmir is a bad example. At least you have weather as some excuse there. There is no weather here. This is power going to people’s heads. This is Thuglaq Cube because this is the 21st Century. In any decent democracy, the Prime Minister will pick up the phone and say this is a bad idea,” he added.
“Your father would not have done this. He is a visionary. He would have built a city much bigger than what Chandrababu Naidu would have imagined and would have named everything in the city after someone in his party. So, there is no Nishaan of Chandrababu Naidu and TDP,” the Senior journalist added.
