Jagan's Temporary Solution for Agitating Capital FarmersJagan's Temporary Solution for Agitating Capital FarmersYSR Congress Government is finally moved by the agitation of the farmers who have given their lands for Amaravati. To keep a lid on the issue, for now, the State Government has released 187.44 Crore towards the tenancy promised for their lands. This is for the year 2019-20.

The State Government has issued the G.O. and the money disbursal will begin very soon. However, the major demand of the farmers is that the Chief Minister should give clarity on the Capital Change. But then, the Government is not yet ready for that increasing the doubts in the farmers.

Opposition Parties have extended their support to the cause of Amaravati and have started touring Capital villages. This has pressurized the Government to come up even with a Temporary Solution. Earlier today, few farmers shouted slogans against the Chief Minister when his convoy passed through one of the Capital villages.

Farmers who gave their lands for the Capital were promised by the Government of Tenancy every year until the developed plots were handed over. Moreover, they are promised 10% increase every year in the tenancy. But Jagan Government did not take it seriously until now.
