Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has this habit of disappearing whenever there is a calamity. In the case of natural calamities like Hudhud and Titli, Jagan only entered the scene a week after the disaster only to blame the government despite the latter doing good work in relief and rehabilitation.
Now, when Fani Cyclone is paralyzing lives in Srikakulam, Jagan headed to a holiday with his family to London. He will be back to Hyderabad only on 14th by when the relief works will be more or less finished. He did not even appeal to the party cadre to help the people in distress.
If we can remember, Jagan took to Twitter and came in support of Ram Gopal Varma for the promotions of his Lakshmi’s NTR. This kind of attitude will not do any good for Jagan who aspires bigger positions. People in distress look at the leaders to respond and Jagan is not doing exactly that.
