Andhra Pradesh Government has celebrated Independence Day at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Vijayawada. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy unveiled the national flag. After receiving the salute from the Armed Forces, the Chief Minister has spoken at least about what his government has done ever since coming to power.
He almost touched every topic but surprisingly skipped the three capitals issue. This has become a huge point of discussion in the political and media circles because this government has taken the three capitals issue very prestigiously. Some have started speculating if the government is rethinking the idea.
But then, it is not easy to go back on something so big. And at the same time, officials prepare the Independence day address of the Chief Minister very carefully. It goes through layers of scrutiny by senior officials and the confidantes of the Chief Ministers. So, it is unlikely that such an important issue can be so easily forgotten.
Definitely, there is some strategy behind this skipping. But we do not know that now!
