Special Status issue has come into the limelight all of a sudden the last week. The Union Home Ministry had added it as a meeting agenda for a meeting with both the states over bifurcation issues. After media speculations, by evening, Special Status has been removed from the meeting agenda.
Initially, YSR Congress tried to take credit for it but in a matter of a few hours, everything got changed. YSR Congress is now blaming Chandrababu Naidu for it saying that he got it removed from the agenda using the TDP Moles In BJP.
But then would anyone buy this argument? Chandrababu Naidu could not influence the Union Government when a ruling party MLA stormed his residence. Chandrababu Naidu could not influence the Union Home Ministry when TDP Offices across the state were attacked by YSR Congress.
It will be silly that he would have influenced the Union Government on such a key issue. Also, it may be noted that BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao is seen actively pursuing the issue with the Union Home Ministry. GVL, as we all know is anti-TDP. Sakshi and YSR Congress can do better!
