Jagan Planning Four Capitals for Andhra Pradesh?Rajya Sabha MP who switched sides from TDP to BJP, TG Venkatesh made a sensational statement regarding Amaravati. “Change of the Capital is very likely. Amaravati is going to be changed. Andhra Pradesh is going to have four capitals very soon. Jagan told his idea to BJP high command and they told this to me,” TG Venkatesh said in an interview.

“Vizianagaram, Kakinada, Guntur, and Kadapa are going to be the Capital Cities,” the Rajya Sabha MP added. TG Venkatesh also added that Jagan’s mindless decisions will only give a new lease of life to Chandrababu Naidu. He also advised Jagan not to trust his Telangana Counterpart, KCR.

Before the elections, YSR Congress fed animosities between the people of other areas against Amaravati. This plan of four capitals is to satisfy people of all the regions, Political Experts opine. The Chief Minister may execute this plan in the name of decentralization of Development.

If this happens, this is the first experiment of a sort in India or any place in the World. South Africa was the only country in the world with three different official capitals way back in 1910. Later, they were dissolved and now, the country has only one Capital.
