MVV Satyanarayana is a builder who entered politics in 2019. He became MP from an important seat like Vishakapatnam in his first attempt itself. MVV Satyanarayana is now looking to test his luck in assembly.
He is keen on contesting from the Vishakapatnam East constituency. Jagan is also interested in giving him the chance because he is financially very strong.
Vishakapatnam East constituency is a very difficult constituency. YSR Congress did not win this constituency so far. TDP Senior leader Velgapudi Ramakrishna won three times on a trot here and is keen on a fourth victory in 2024.
Even though his Kamma community is not dominant here, Velagapudi is strong in all communities here.
YSR Congress is encouraging Yadavs and the Fishermen community to woo the BC voters of the constituency.
Akaramani Vijaya Nirmala who contested and lost on the YSRCP ticket was made the coordinator and was also made the chairperson of the Vishakapatnam Metro Development authority.
Vamsi Krishna Srinivas who previously lost two times from this constituency was made an MLC.
Golagani Hari Venkata Kumari of the same constituency was made Vishaka Mayor.
In this way, three important BC leaders of the constituency were given important posts.
All three will be disappointed if MVV is given a chance here.
On the other hand, Velagapudi feels that MVV Satyanarayana will be an easy target because he got so much of a bad name for doing nothing to the city after becoming MP.
