Jagan's Padayatra Resumes Amid Huge Security CoverYS Jagan Mohan Reddy resumed his Padayatra today after 17 days of rest following the Kodi Kathi Attack. The Padayatra began in Payakapadu village in Vizianagaram district and security is beefed up. A huge contingent of Police was deployed in the surroundings of Jagan’s Camp and CCTV Cameras were also installed.

Three different Cards – Red, Blue, and Green were issues to the people around Jagan. Red Cards were given to the people who were identified in advance. Police who are in the Bandobast are given Blue Cards and the party leaders, MLAs, and Jagan’s Private Staff were given Blue Cards.

Anyone without these cards was not allowed even near Jagan. The public who came to the spot without the knowledge of these cards were highly inconvenient due to these new rules. Even the local cadre is disappointed but the Police have confirmed that in the wake of the Kodi Kathi Attack, they can not take any risk.

Today is the 295th day of Jagan‘s Padayatra. He walked for 3211.5 Kilometers so far. The Padayatra is going on in Saluru constituency of Vizianagaram and he will have to cover two more constituencies before entering the last district, Srikakulam. The Marathon Padayatra may end early next year.
