Jagan's Padayatra Begins As his Name Appears in Paradise PapersJust 18 months after the explosive Panama Papers unveiled how several prominent personalities and leaders around the globe routed money through offshore accounts and shell companies, another major data leak, Paradise Papers has emerged embracing several biggies and politicians including Opposition Leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, a report in Popular Media Papers revealed.

The name in the media has emerged exactly a day before Jagan started his Padayatra today from Idupulapaya. The data leak was managed by German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung and was investigated by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) working in partnership with 96 news organizations.

As many as 714 Indian companies including Jagan’s are figured in these papers and have allegedly laundered money to hide assets and avoid taxes. Along with Jagan, Civil Aviation Minister Jayant Sinha and BJP MP R.K. Sinha have been named in the Paradise Papers.

Jagan has embarked on the 3000 Kilometers Padayatra from today and his name in the Paradise Papers will cause the major embarrassment and the opposition parties will come back hounding him. On the first day, Jagan will be walking for 8.9 Kilometers.
